A home for Sally follows a little puppy who stays at a shelter and fights to be adopted because he’s missing a leg and can’t run. What was the inspiration for your story?
inspiration for A home for Sally It came from a place of concern. She often saw stories about pet adoption, however, most of them did not feature a puppy with special needs. This made me consider and then write about a canine with a disability that draws attention to this animal. Which was considered unadoptable.
What was the moral you were trying to capture while creating your characters?
The moral I’m sharing in A home for Sally is to never give up and encourage people to adopt a dog with special needs.
What were some ideas that were important for you to share in this book?
Some concepts that were important to me was having empathy for others, although we may seem different, we are all lovable, learning to accept the differences between us. and the friendship we can have with a pet.
What is the next book you are working on and when will it be available?
My next book release is part of a series, and the main character is she the elephant. The first book in this series is titled, she learns to dance it is scheduled for release in December 2022.
